These Terms of Service govern your use of CognitionCatalysts (cognitioncatalysts.com). By using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. What CognitionCatalysts Is

CognitionCatalysts is an AI engineering interview preparation platform. We offer practice challenges, community solutions, leaderboards, and AI-powered grading to help software engineers improve their AI system design skills.

We are not an accreditation body. Completing challenges on CognitionCatalysts does not guarantee employment or certification of any kind.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• One account per person — do not share accounts
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Provide accurate information when signing up

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit, or manipulate the leaderboard or scoring system
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce challenge content for redistribution
• Post harmful, abusive, or spam content in community discussions
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the platform
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Use bots or automated tools to solve challenges or inflate scores

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban without notice.

4. Your Content

When you submit solutions, comments, or any content on CognitionCatalysts:

• You retain ownership of what you write
• You grant us a license to display it on the platform (e.g. community solutions visible to other users post-submission)
• You are responsible for ensuring your content doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights

Don't submit content that is copied from others without attribution, harmful, illegal, or violates anyone's intellectual property.

5. Our Content

All challenge questions, editorials, learning paths, and platform design are owned by CognitionCatalysts. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

You can share individual challenge links on social media, write about your experience, and discuss concepts publicly — that's encouraged.

6. AI Grading

Our AI grading feature uses third-party AI models to evaluate your submissions. AI grading is provided as a learning tool and should not be treated as a definitive or professional assessment. Scores and feedback are indicative, not absolute.

7. Free vs Paid Features

Core features of CognitionCatalysts are free. We may introduce paid features (Pro plan) in the future. If we do:

• Existing free features will remain free unless explicitly stated otherwise
• Paid plans will be clearly described before purchase
• Refund policies will be stated at the point of purchase

8. Availability

We aim to keep CognitionCatalysts available at all times, but we can't guarantee it. We may take the platform down for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

9. Disclaimer

CognitionCatalysts is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using this platform will result in job offers, interview success, or specific skill outcomes. Use it as one tool among many in your learning journey.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CognitionCatalysts is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your access to the platform ends and your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms over time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
